Curiously chic and beautifully embroidered original 1930s black silk handbag with small purse containing mirror. The bag has a Chinoiserie style embroidery design that was typical of the era and includes gold thread. Gold metal hardware, clasp and chain strap.
Approx. 9.84 inches (25 cm) wide x 6.89 inches (17.5 cm) high x 1.97 inches (5 cm) wide. The bag and lining are in mint, possibly unused, condition. Made in England.
