Museum-worthy 1920s era flapper style cocoon coat, with wide ruched collar that can be worn up, and bias cut, draped lapels. Covered in a painterly floral print with luminous gold lamé throughout. Fully lined in luxurious liquid silk velvet. Simple hook and eye closure at neck. As an added bonus, this curiously collectable garment also features an adorable little tie accent on the right hem. A stunning piece of fashion history in perfect, wearable condition.
Measurements:
Should fit loosely, but would best suit a size XS, and shown here unpinned on an XS dress form.
Shoulder edge to edge across back: about 22"
Length: 33"
Condition: Excellent. Just amazing. The only minor flaw is one teeny tiny hairline split at the very top of one of the folds on the collar, absolutely not noticeable even under inspection it is difficult to see, and does not affect wear at all.
