Original 1973 Biba Mustard/Gold and Black Geometric Block Print in Rare Tootal Fabric Midi Dress - Very Good Condition

A 1973 Biba midi dress in a rare Tootal Fabric. This curiously collectable item features long balloon sleeves with tight cuffs and two tiny covered buttons, which can be worn pushed slightly up to give a fuller shape. The dress has a v-shaped neckline with fitted waistband and a tulip shape midi-length skirt.

There is a long zip down the back of the dress, which has the original satin Biba label in the neckline and residue above from the original size label. The fabric is printed in a distinctive geometric Art Deco block design, mimicking the architecture of the Big Biba building.

This has a few tiny marks in places but nothing noticeable because of the all over design, the most noticeable is on the back of the left sleeve near the armpit. There is a little hand sewing by the hook and eye at the back, but this is hardly noticeable when worn.
