Curiously chic Miriam Haskell lipstick red givre glass and gilded brass leaves necklace and earrings set from around 1970.
The necklace measures 17.5 inches/44.5 cm long. The central station consists of elongated red givre glass beads
with gilded brass repoussé caps. These beads are from 18 mm X 12 mm to 12 mm X 11 mm. The chained fringes are populated with repoussé gilded brass leaves, and wired faceted red givre glass beads. The central station is 9 inches/23 cm long, approx. 3 1/2 inches/9 cm drop in the widest point. The necklace continues with smaller red givre glass beads and ends with a patented clasp stamped MIRIAM HASKELL and PATENT 3427691. There is also a hanging tag stamped MIRIAM HASKELL.
The matching screw back clip earrings are 37 mm long. The wired lipstick red givre glass bead dangle is 23 mm long. The clasps are stamped HASKELL.
This item is in vintage condition, commensurate with age.
