1980s meets 1890s style in this striking Japanese print dress. This is a one-of-a-kind item. Every Karmic Love creation is totally unique.
Handmade in London from end-of-line fabric, this comfortable and versatile dress can also be worn as a top (as shown). The front of the dress features symbolic and auspicious creatures, including the crane - a symbol of happiness, good luck and longevity in Japan (it said to live for a thousand years); the dragon signifying bravery, wisdom and strength; and pine trees, representing longevity, good fortune and steadfastness. The peppermint fabric on the back of this dress is a fine and soft corduroy, and there is an elasticated hem, to allow for maximum flexibility in the length of the garment. The dress is trimmed with jet beads at the neck and on the sleeve cuff edges.
Size: This one size dress approximates to UK women’s size 8-14, but is not gender specific. The garments measurements are: Length from shoulder to hem, 32 inches/81 cm; Length from neck to edge of sleeve 23 inches/58.5 cm; waist 60 inches/152.5 cm.
Composition and Care: The fabric is 100% cotton, but please wash this individually trimmed gown carefully at 30 degrees on a gentle cycle.
