The sterling Silver Egg Cup is a handmade piece of modern silver, spun in Hersey & Son's workshops from a solid piece of silver by one of a team of highly skilled and experienced silversmiths. When their work is completed, it is polished to a high finish before being sent to the London Assay Office where it is hallmarked on the bowl. The cup is 70mm in height. The companion silver spoon, measuring 110mm in length, is also hallmarked.
