Vintage Hollywood glamour meets artisanal boho cool: there are two sides to this curiously chic coat. One side is honey blonde suede, with Mongolian lamb lining – let it all hang out on the collar, or show it off by turning up the sleeves. Or turn the whole coat inside out for full on shaggy seventies style. Even the pockets are reversible and fully lined on each side. Produced at the turn of the millennium, this stunning piece is a favourite of Joan Collins, who has been photographed on a number of occasions wearing the coat (scroll through to see a pic).
Made from genuine Mongolian lamb, each one of these limited edition coats is completely unique. Measuring 56 inches/142 cm long (58 inches/147 cm if you include the lining overlap at the hem), for practicality of wear, a button has been added to this coat, so it can be worn buttoned or undone. Made in the USA. Original purchase price in excess of £2000.
Size: Marked a UK size 10, this coat would be suitable for a UK size 6 to small size 10.
Composition: 100% Shearling.
Condition: The coat is generally in very good condition, though there is a black pen mark on the bottom of the suede side, which an additional clean or rub down with a cloth should remove, and a mark on the back of the garment where a belt has been worn (see photos).
